Golden West Billiards, MFG. is a family owned and operated company which started manufacturing in the late 1960's. Our products are sold worldwide, and the main reason for our success is quality and control of our products.

We are the ONLY pool table manufacturer that does all our own designing in-house. We have been the industry leader in product design, with many patents granted us over the years. We are the ONLY pool table manufacturer that does all laminating, wood turning and carving in-house. We are extremely proud of our detailed work and state-of-the-art finishing department.

Golden West Billiard equipment is truly in a class by itself with our emphasis on detail. Golden West is considered, by many billiard experts, to be the standard of excellence for the industry. Golden West also manufactures custom made Shuffleboard Tables.

Golden West Billiard Tables are available standard sizes 7', 8' or 9' and a few styles are available as 5 x 10'. A variety of standard or custom finishes are available.

Dining Top

Dining table tops can be ordered for any table in matching wood and stain.


Create the basement banquet table when large gatherings and great food are required; kids all moved out - have as your primary dining table but when the kids drop by for family dinners you have all the room for the expanding family- after dinner remove the top and family game night starts in minutes after the dishes are cleared!

Custom cue drawers are standard on certain models, or can be special ordered for most of the full frame tables and occasional knockdown frame.


Store 6 cues, a full set of billiard or snooker balls plus accessories. if you don't like the look of a wall or floor cue rack, then this is the cleanest and safest way to store your cues.

Frames

All Golden West pool table are constructed of solid kiln dried hardwoods except the Titus, Maddox, Coronado, Bellingham, Corona, and St. Thomas.

Golden West is environmentally responsible.

We use Northern Red Oak, Rock hard Maple, Pennsylvania Cherry, Alder, eco-friendly Honduran Mahogany, and many other customer selected hardwoods.

All frames are kiln dried and humidity controlled to resist warping and to ensure maximum rigidity.

Golden West offers two superior frames at many different price points:

GOLDEN WEST ENTRY LEVEL POOL TABLES

Golden West entry level pool tables are constructed using 1 1/2” Oak, Birch, or Maple plywood w. MDF Core on the frames, aprons and rails of the pool tables. 
All other components are the same as our premium pool tables. 

GOLDEN WEST PREMIUM POOL TABLES

All Golden West tables are (excluding entry level tables) 1 1/2 inch thick solid hardwood frames. We choose not to offer Ash or Morante (imported woods) due to the poor finishing qualities of these woods.

Woods and Stains

You are looking at images of wood on a computer screen. Every tree is different and every computer screen is different. 
These images represent the samples we have as well as possible. If you would like an actual sample please call 1-800-423-5702; 
we can also do custom match stains, finishes, and woods for your table.
 Hardwood

Golden West selects hardwood that is premium, kiln-dried hardwood. Golden West hardwoods resists warping and will ensure maximum rigidity. Golden West also offers the widest frame displacement for best slate support.

Plywood

We use all North Pacific Lumber, premium plywood from local Pacific Northwest lumber companies. Golden West does not use any imported plywood.

Slate

All Golden West pool tables are built according to the BCA 
(Billiard Congress of America) specifications.  
Golden West only manufactures pool tables with 3 pieces of 1” thick 
registered and matched Diamond Honed Slate.  
All slates must be precision to .020 in width and .010 in length.

One piece slate tables are only found on Coin-op pool tables or cheap 
Imported pool tables.

All pool tables, sanctioned by the BCA, to be used in World Tournaments, 
must have a 3 piece 1” thick slate.

Rail Options

Our rails are available in many custom woods, finishes, and stains. Our oil and wax finish guarantees that with minimum care you can maintain the rails to a fine furniture look. We can hand inlay mother of pearl and abalone diamond sights, coins, trinkets, and other materials into the rail cap to personalize your billiard table. 

We use the finest hardwoods available to create a stunning top for your table. The following materials have been used to augment a table's beauty.

Again, we can build your rails from most any hardwood you desire. Further, Golden West is a pioneer in the development of the 2 piece rail assembly using 8/4 quality hardwood and a sub rail with a hardwood rail cap, which is connected to the slate with a 3/8 four prong 1/2 inch barrel tee nut. This has become a standard in the industry, except the competition will not spend the money needed. They would rather use a 5/16 aluminum 3 prong tee nut and bolt into the wood rather than making the correct connection.

Cushions

Golden West Sure-Shot® cushions are manufactured exclusively for Golden West Billiards. Playability and accuracy are trademarks of Sure-Shot® cushions. Made from 100% live Gum rubber, and a K-66 profile, Golden West Sure-Shot® cushions will give you years of enjoyment and superior play.

Sure-Shot® cushions have a canvas ducting molded into the top of the cushion to give you the same rebounding angle time after time. It costs more to do it this way but the rewards are evident after playing on a Golden West pool table. Accuracy, combined with Speed, are what makes Sure-Shot® cushions ultimately the BEST.
